Bring Them to Me

"Don't bother the Master", disciples said,
As mothers their children brought,
But their little ones they boldly led
To hear what Jesus taught.

"Oh bring them to me, don't send them away",
Our loving Saviour commands.
He picked them up and blessed them that day
With the touch of His gentle Hands.

And then He spoke of the Kingdom of Heaven;
The simple faith of a child,
And how we each should seek to be given
A trust so undefiled.

Today, we bring this precious lamb
To his loving Shepherd's side,
Because he loves the children
And for their souls has died.

Lord bless, protect, and save his soul;
We place him in Your care.
And help us guide his steps to You,
This is our earnest prayer.
