Holy Spirit, take control,
Come and fill this empty soul,
Flood me with Your Joy and Power,
Use me from this very hour.

For so long I've struggled on
With my peace and strength all gone,
Now I come to ask once more,
On me a fresh infilling pour.

Oh, this hungry spirit feed,
You can satisfy indeed;
Blessing I do not deserve,
But I need Your power to serve.

All I am I want to give
For my Saviour, Christ to live.
Holy Spirit, fill this soul,
Come just now and take control.
