Into Your Hands

Into Your Hands his soul has fled,
His mortal body he has shed;
From death to Life he has been led –
Into Your Hands!

Into Your Hands he did commit
His daily path, glad to permit
Your Will, and all things to submit
Into Your Hands.

Into Your Hands, we who remain
Though feeling all the loss and pain
Accept this parting for his gain –
Into Your Hands.

Into Your Hands his spirit we commend
Knowing he'll be with You to the end,
And place our hands, Oh Loving Friend,
Into Your Hands!

Into Your Hands, our comfort here
In prayer to feel Your Presence near,
And yield our future without fear
Into Your Hands!
