It Must Be Spring

It must be Spring!
The sun grows warmer and stronger,
The days are brighter and longer,
The birds with abandonment sing,
It certainly must be Spring!

It must be Spring!
Though I'm walking on frozen ground,
And icy snow banks abound,
Stark and bare is each tree,
No swelling buds can I see,
But what do I care?
I feel it in the air -
It certainly must be spring!

It must be spring!
My heart is happy and gay.
It is a beautiful day,
Pure blue is the sky -
How thankful am I!
If I look up above
God's world I sure love -
It certainly must be Spring!
