Safely Home

We're sad to see our dear one go
From this earthly life below,
But she's reunited once again
With those she loved and lost with pain.

While her dear body silent lies
Her spirit lives beyond the skies,
In God's presence to rejoice
While His praises tune her voice.

Her family will deeply miss
A mother and grandmother's kiss.
But our hearts should not be too sad,
Remembering all the years she had.

Now God has led her safely home
Where someday we may also come.
By God's grace we there shall meet
And find eternal joy complete.
