Snow

Floating gently downwards
Or swirling in the breeze
Snowlakes’ gentle beauty
Blankets grass and trees;
In its descent also
It covers eyesores bare,
Bringing to our vision
Loveliness so rare.
Thus its kindly mantle
Does not discriminate -
Thrown so lightly over
The landscapes' varied state.
Softly it envelopes
Everything in sight
Instantly enhancing
All with its bright light.
