Tell Me You Love Me, Again

In my hour of loneliness
And deep bereavement pain,
I cry out "Heavenly Father,
Tell me You love me again".

I need to be reminded
In case I should forget,
Just when I feel unlovable
That You still love me yet.

I never could deserve it,
Your love so deep and free,
So let me hear You say, Lord,
How much You care for me.

Then, in response, Lord Jesus,
My love for You I'll show,
Because I have been reassured
And your love for me know.
