Till Death Us Do Part

May memories fragrant as the flowers
Enrich and gladden all the hours
Of this, your Anniversary Day,
For one of God's choice blessings, this,
To live again past days of bliss,
And thus to cheer a lonely way.

Grieve not to see your loved one's face -
For he was called to take the place
Which was for him alone prepared.
Look on and up to that glad morn
When darkness all shall turn to dawn
And life with him once more be shared.

Be thankful for the joys you had -
His loving heart which made you glad;
Companionship in joy and tears;
As side by side life's paths you trod -
Remembering with praise to God
His faithfulness through all the years.

Although you cannot hear his voice,
Nor see him, yet you can rejoice,
For he is not so far away.
He surely watches over you
And still his love is warm and true
On this, your Anniversary Day!
