Worship - Now and Then!

Now, Lord, I worship you
In ways this finite mind
Can comprehend.

I sing and also pray
And in humility
Before You bend.

I meditate intently
Feasting this hungry spirit
On Your Word.

I also try to listen
So Your Spirit's voice
Is plainly heard.

But someday in Your presence
With wonderment I'll hear
The angelic choir.

My spirit then will worship
And in that state no longer
Words will I require.

True worship's from the heart
In silent reverence
And awe profound.

Until then, my gracious God,
I'll sing your praise -
A joyful sound!
